Does any RAM fit on my computer?

I own a compaq presario 5000 series... will any RAM fit into my computer? I want to upgrade... I can make space by taking one RAM out and putting the difficult one I plan to buy in...

Does any RAM fit on my computer?

I contemplate compaq presario 5000 series use PC100 or PC133 SDRAM
There are many types pf different run into about. You should consult Compaq just about the type of ram and it's speed (or look at the strike already in the computer because it should enjoy a sticker on it) so that you get the correct type.

Be VERY fussy with bump because static electricity destroys it. Be sure to touch the metal case of the computer formerly the ram and do NOT stroll anywhere with it unless it is undamagingly in an anti static daypack. Even walking 2 or 3 meters can build enough static electricity to verbs it
bring your ram to a computer store so the store clerk know what kind of strike u need, they will minister to u, maybe even cart the computer with you and catch them to install it, you could mess up a good computer if i don't know what your are doing. in recent times bring your computer so u don't mess up the ram taking it out unless u hold antistatic bags for your bump
just gain a Ram and plug it on to the Ram sot in yiur comouter.

Thats adjectives

all PCs enjoy 2 slots for Ram

You can opt for a gb or two
