Does Hitachi really provide a 5 year warranty on their HDD contained by India as they claim?

Raj Rathi, MD, Cyberstar India (Hitachi Resellers) claims that they provide. I have recently purchased a Travelstar HDD and on certification of the P/N on their site could not find the expiry date of the Replacement warranty. (Samsung has a more stretch out check system, and they do replace the defective HDD - no question asked). If hitachi really have a warranty, who should be contacted in Mumbai?

how can you ask this sound out about a company resembling Hitachi?

they really provide it
Yes they really do have this warranty... Your drive have to have a sticker on it that indicate it is from them. Just convey it to them along with a copy of your purchase account, that's all.

If you don't enjoy the sticker, you could try to have it replaced newly ask them if it is possible.
