Does anyone know how to burn a dvd near a cdrw drive?

Im not sure if this is even possible, but does anyone know if you can burn a movie onto a rw cd next to a cdrw drive so i can watch it within a regular dvd player? I know the easy route to do it would be just to buy a dvd rw drive, but i simply wanted to know if its possible to do alike thing near just a cdrw drive?? gratefulness!!

Does anyone know how to burn a dvd near a cdrw drive?

can't be done, a cd writer can't write dvds. different hardware.

you can create video cds which can fit a movie onto a normal recordable cd but repeatedly you lose some quality - a cd is after adjectives far far smaller than a dvd so it can't hold the same capacity/quality of information.

some dvd players may have a problem if you put this vcd onto a rewritable cd, you should stick to cd-r discs unless you specifically know the dvd player will play cd-rws.

instructions for ripping a dvd to a vcd can be found here:

a cdrw drive cannot read a dvd. a dvd have thinner grooves to store more information and a cdrw cannot read the thin grooves. so it is impossible to burn a dvd next to a cdrw drive
You can't, you must have a dvr drive previously it will recognize anything but nouns.
you cant, i tried and failed and frivolous money buying the wrong discs
yes you can do it if you know blackmagic otherwise no.
its impossible.
No, sorry.

Even if you were competent to fit a full length movie onto a CD,

(Which is doubtful, even beside compression)

(And the video quality would be noticably reduced)

You would simply be able to study it on your computer.
CAN'T be done. CAN'T be done. CAN'T be done. CAN'T be done.
