Hewlet Packard is angelic, get one next to lightscribe, it prints on the disk too. Once you have written the information, flip the disk over and it will print artwork, photos or text onto the disk. cost more or less lb60 i got mine bad ebay.
I received a LG GSA-E10L 16x DVD writer this morning and it's fantastic. It writes and reads DVD+, DVD- and DVD-ROM and created fantastic Lightscribe DVDS (http://www.lightscribe.com). It's connected via USB 2.0 and comes beside Nero software. It's also dual-layer compatible. I plugged it in, installed the software and wrote 2 DVDs straight away (one lightscribe, one ordinary).



I can notably recommend it.



Search on any of the price comparison sites and you should be able to take it for under lb50 including postage and covering.

I use a Pioneer 16x Dvr-111 DVD Burner and put it surrounded by an external case. It works great and I can move it from my Windoze to my Mac near no problems.
