Note: The maximum speed of my DVD-RAM/CD drive (for reading/writing) is 24x.
And I a moment ago wanna know whether it's safe to burn a 52x CD-RW by using it.
Any one who know about this thing? Please help...
Thnx!
Does a 52x blank disk hurt my CD/DVD-RAM drive if my I wanna use that disk to burn some files from my drive?
it will not hurt anything to burn using a 52x disc. the burner will still singular burn at 24x max.
Yes, it is completely safe to burn it at 24X. In reality it is not safe to burn it more than 52x because the the maximum rate that compact disc can handle is 52x.
In any cases, your CD writer/burner is fine. No issues. :-)

It's locked! This type of disc is capable of burning at 52X providing your burner will! Your burner can shift to 24X so the cd will not burn faster than 24x. It all depends on the burner speed!
Yes it will work fine but it will solely burn up to 24x it will not go up to 52x to be precise the Max speed the disc can be burnt up to.
