Do I involve this?

Okay the simple answer is not here. The card you presently have is using shared system memory. The trial card has staunch memory. Overall this will make a great upturn for gaming do to the dedicated memory usage. Turn stale and unplug the system from the oulet, and disconnect the monitor cable. You will need to remove the mature video card unless it is integrated into the motherboard. The new card should be inserted into the appropriate slot which is probably going to be an AGP type slot. Insert a screw to hold it surrounded by place unless there is an alternative card retaining system built into the shield. This new card will one and only fit into a slot designed for it, so you can not put it into a wrong one. Plug everything back contained by, and be sure the monitor is plugged into the new card. Restart the computer, and a Found New Hardware should pop up asking for a driver disc. Insert the CD and click Okay. This should be adjectives. If you do not have the driver disc then call on http://www.driverguide.com and find the one that is peak rated for your card model and OS. Hope this help.
