I`ve get DDR memory installed in my computer. Will a DDR2 videocard work beside my system?
Does a videocard compatible beside my system which have DDR2 written on?
yes it is compatible with adjectives new computers
Yes. The DDR2 singular refers to the memory used internally on the video card.
When buying a video card you need to take home sure your motherboard is compatible with it.
AGP video cards are cards that will eventually become non-operational, new motherboards wont enjoy an AGP slot, I am sure you can find one or two, but thats it.
PCI-Express is the new entity for motherboards, these video cards run faster than AGP cards, you can even buy 2 of the same card to double the power, they ring up this SLI, you just have need of a compatible motherboard for that.
So it doesn't matter how much more powerful your video card is over your RAM, in recent times make sure you can if truth be told use it on your motherboard.
